Accommodation
The Holkham Barn is self-catering. We will provide an introductory welcome pack.
Jonas Farmhouse is bed and breakfast. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in your room and a hearty Norfolk provenance farmhouse breakfast is included in the room rate. You must advise of any dietary requirements when making your booking to ensure we can fully accommodate your needs.
Check-in/out Times
Check in for the Holkham Barn is from 4pm on the day of arrival. The Barn should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.
Payment
Bookings are secured by payment of a non-returnable deposit of 20% (or full payment for bookings under £100). You will be asked to pay a deposit of 20% of total cost at the time of booking. We are happy to accept cash, cheques and card payments. Your booking is not confirmed until this deposit has been received. If the deposit is not received within 5 working days your booking will be considered cancelled.
Full payment for The Holkham barn will be due 6 weeks before your stay.
The balance of your booking for The Farmhouse is payable on departure.
Changes to Bookings
If you wish to amend your booking please advise us as soon as possible and we will make every effort to meet your requirements.
Cancellations by the Guest
Cancellations more than 4 weeks before the start of the booking will incur no further charge beyond the deposit. If you cancel less than 4 weeks before the start of the booking, you could be liable for a cost equal to any loss of income incurred if we are unable to refill the ensuing vacancy. We recommend you take out insurance to cover your costs should you have to cancel your booking.
Cancellations by Jonas Farmhouse
Jonas Farmhouse reserves the right to cancel any booking without liability on its part in the event of any damage or destruction to the facilities by fire or flood or cause beyond the control of Jonas Farmhouse which shall prevent it from performing its obligation in connection with any booking. Jonas Farmhouse will not be responsible for any consequential loss arising from such circumstances. Jonas Farmhouse strongly recommends that guests purchase Holiday/Travel Insurance.
Return of Room Keys
There will be a £25 charge should a guest lose, damage or fail to return keys.
Parking
Parking is available on the drive at the front of Jonas Farmhouse for bed and breakfast guests and in the designated spaces adjacent to The Holkham Barn. Cars are parked at their owners’ and drivers’ risk and Jonas Farm cannot accept responsibility for any damage or theft occurring to vehicles. If a vehicle is left in the car park without the consent of Jonas Farmhouse, we reserve the right to remove the vehicle at the owner’s expense.
Children
All children are the responsibility of their parents/carers and must be under supervision at all times.
Pets
One well-behaved small – medium size dog is welcome in The Holkham Barn for a small charge. Guests with a long-haired dog may be liable for an additional cleaning surcharge. Your dog must be kept on a lead in all outside common areas and must not be allowed on the Holkham Barn furniture or upstairs in the barn.
Housekeeping
We would kindly request that your room and the barn is kept in a reasonable order. Should excessive cleaning be required a surcharge will be added to account for this.
Smoking
In line with government legislation, smoking is prohibited in all buildings at Jonas Farm. Guests who breach our no smoking policy will be charged for de-fuming costs. A fine of £50 will be levied per guest.
Inappropriate Behaviour
All our guests have the right to be treated with dignity and respect. Should the management deem any actions by a guest inappropriate, or if any illegal or inappropriate behaviour is brought to the attention of the management, Jonas Farm reserves the right, after any allegations have been investigated, to take action against the guest, which may entail asking the guest to leave or involving the police.
Damage to Property
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage caused by accidental, deliberate, negligent or reckless acts of the guest to any property of Jonas Farm. We will however make every effort to rectify any damage ourselves prior to contacting specialists to make the repairs.
Removal of Property
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the premises by them without consent. The charge will be the full replacement amount of the missing item, including any carriage charges.
Tampering with Fire Detection Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment
We reserve the right to take action against any person found to have tampered/interfered with any fire protection equipment throughout Jonas Farm. Guests found to have tampered with such equipment will be charged with any costs incurred by Jonas Farm due to their actions and may be asked to leave. Depending on the severity of the guest actions, the police may be contacted.
Lost Property
Jonas Farm is not liable for any loss or damage to the property of the client or any person as may occur within the constraints of the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956. If we find any lost property, we will make every reasonable effort to locate the owner and return it, but if we cannot locate the owner and an item is not reclaimed with 3 months of the guest’s departure it will be disposed of by Jonas Farm.
Use of the Grounds
We are pleased for guests to use facilities within our grounds, including any play equipment, but point out that Jonas Farm cannot accept responsibility for any accident or injury which might occur whilst using these facilities.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is available for use between 9am and 6pm, unless otherwise advertised. For safety reasons the pool is kept locked when not in use. Bed and breakfast guests will incur a small additional fee for use of the pool.
Bathroom towels should not be used in the swimming pool. Please bring your own pool towels.
It is forbidden to take any form of glass into the pool area.
The pool is not staffed by a supervisor or lifeguard.
In the interests of safety, an adult must supervise children under 16.
When using the pool there must always be another person in the pool area.
Diving, running, jumping and dive-bombing are forbidden.
All users should read the Pool Safety Operating Procedure and Normal Operating Plan.
Jonas Farm cannot and does not accept responsibility for any accident or injury, which might occur whilst using the swimming pool.

Credit card information is stored digitally, through secure websites processing your payment. No credit card information is stored locally. Credit card details are encrypted, and once used, are no longer accessible.
Phone numbers, names and addresses are stored digitally.
Who we share guest information with
No information is passed onto other companies or third parties for any other purpose not associated with Jonas Farm or Pollywiggle web design.
Why we share guest information
Any third party business is used to manage operations of Jonas Farm. This may include, processing bookings, responding to queries, informing guests of opportunities, and generally aiding guests for their stay.
